The February meeting is fast approaching and I have been making some plans for it that I will list below. The meeting will be on 02/17/2006 and will be in the same place as last time in the Altamonte Springs mall food court.
I have been inviting more and more people to this and I think we may actually have an even larger turnout than last time. We may need to discuss this at the meeting because I am not sure how flexible the mall will be with such a large crowd of people. I really like meeting in the mall, but if we get kicked out, we need to have a contingency plan so bring suggestions for other locations in the Altamonte Springs area that could accomodate us.
The first meeting was pretty much a "meet and greet" meeting but this time, I have more activities planned... |

Our inaugural meeting was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who attended!
We had approximately 20 people there, which was a fantastic start. We had some newcomers to hacker meetings in general, some BinRev forum members as well as some personal friends that I invited. In addition there was a large group representing datawhore.org so make sure and check their site out. I hope most, if not all of those people come back again for the February meeting.
The first meeting was a "let's see how this goes" meeting, with little in the way of content. As far as the next meeting, keep reading for some plans that I am making for February 17,2006. |

The inaugural meeting of the BinRev 407 group will be this January 20th. The meeting will take place at the AltaMonte Springs mall just 10 minutes north of Orlando. I should be there by 5:30 but the meeting doesn't really have an official start time. Some people cannot make it until 6 or 7 PM or even later. We will most likely sit and talk tech and news until about 7 PM before we do any formal presentations or discussions.
I have been unplugged and have not been promoting this very much, but I am going to venture out of the Dawg house to try to start a new meeting in Orlando. The 2600 meeting seems to be dead (I have been for 2 months and 1 had 2 new people and no regulars, the second had 1 one person who was semi-regular who hopefully will show up at the BR407 meeting. I have also met a couple of other local people who may or may not attend.
The activities that will take place will be mostly introductory in nature, but I will have some to hand out! Keep reading for more information.
